We believe in only one true and living God, and that there is a trinity of persons in the God head: The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. And yet not three gods, but one God. (Matthew 28:19, I John 5:7)
We believe that the 1611 King James Translation of scriptures of the old and new testaments is the preserved word of God, and the only rule of faith and practice. (Psalms 12:6-7, Mark 13:31, II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1: 20-21, Revelation 22:18-19)
We believe in the fall of Adam and the inheritance of sin by his posterity in the corruption of human nature and the impotence of man to recover himself by his own free will and ability. (John 6:44, Romans 3:10-18, Romans 5:12)
We believe in the everlasting love of God to His people and the eternal election of a definite number of the human race to grace and glory and that there was a covenant of grace or redemption between the Father and the Son before the world began in which their salvation is secure and that they in particular are redeemed. (II Samuel 23:5, John 10:28-29, John 13:1, Ephesians 1:4-5, II Timothy 1:9, Titus 1:2)
We believe that sinners are justified in the sight of God only by the righteousness of Christ imputed to them. (Romans 5:8-9, Romans 5:15-21, Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe all those who were chosen in Christ will be effectually called, regenerated, changed and sanctified by the Spirit, so that they will be preserved in grace forever and not one of them be finally lost. (Romans 8:28-39, Ephesians 2:1-9, I Peter 1:2, Jude 1:1)
We believe that good works are the fruits of the new birth and follow after justification, and that they only justify us in the sight of men and angels and are evidences of our gracious state. (Galatians 5:22-23, Ephesians 2:10, James 2:17-24)
We believe that there will be a resurrection of the dead and a general judgment, and the happiness of the righteous and the punishment of the wicked will be eternal. (Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 14:10-11, 20:11-15, 21:1-5)
We believe that baptism by immersion, the Lord’s Supper and the washing of the saint’s feet are ordinances of Jesus Christ, and no minister has a right to the administration of any of those ordinances only such as are regularly called and come under the laying on of hands by a presbytery. (Matthew 28:19-20, John 13:14-15, I Timothy 4:14)
We believe that being a member of this Church body, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, is a privilege and not a right; and that said privilege will not be granted to or continued with anyone whom this Church body considers, by its interpretation of scripture, to be living in an unrepentant manner contrary to the instruction of scripture. (Leviticus 18:6-25, Matthew 16:19, 18:15-18, Romans 1:26-31, 13:13, I Corinthians 5:1-13, 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21)
